To give a brief example, I once dreamed that I had received a notice from my hometown city Council. It was in 1851 that someone was hospitalized. At that time, he suddenly fell ill in my house and had to be hospitalized. I found this very interesting because I had not given birth to the second one in 1851, and my father was the only one who died a long time ago. To my surprise, I went to the next room to ask my father. He remembered that he was drunk and detained that year. He worked in a company. I asked him if you often drank. Are you getting married? Of course, I counted one.

This dream is now true and logical, and it seems to be accurate and wrong. It can be explained in another way that a patient who came to see a doctor for a long time decided to get married after the treatment. My father’s conversation in the dream reminds me of a great professor who often asks students like this in class.
Date of birth
In 1856
Father’s name
Therefore, it can be said that I have repeated this experience in my dream. In this sense, we can say that a certain conclusion has emerged in my dream, which must come from the hidden dream, but the dream body is not in the logical processing ability.
Chapter VI Dream Machine Dream Emotion
I have realized more than once that dreams are mostly accompanied by some real feelings. Strick said that I am afraid of robbers in my dreams. Although robbers are imaginary, the fear is real.
However, dreams and emotions are not necessarily related. In some dreams, we are in a horrible, dangerous and disgusting situation, and we don’t feel disgusted and afraid. In other dreams, an ordinary thing can make us feel scared or very heart-warming. What is the reason for this phenomenon?
Considering the dream hiding, we can easily solve the mystery of this phenomenon. Among all the changes caused by the inspection, the impact on emotional experience is the least. Because the dream transplant symbolizes that the dream has been greatly changed, but the feelings have not changed, and then the emotional experience has become inconsistent after camouflage. We can find out through psychoanalysis that the ideas that match the feelings but have been suppressed are not inseparable, but they can be separated by psychoanalysis. In this paper, I will also cite a list of dream examples to elaborate my thoughts in detail.
Remember that young girl dreamed of her nephew’s death dream? In the dream, the girl didn’t feel painful and sad. After our analysis, this dream actually hides her yearning for her beloved man. Her emotional experience in the dream must match her wishes. The boy’s death disguise is not at all, so she won’t be sad.
In this dream, whether feelings depend on conceptual materials before or are connected with other dreams, the separation of emotional concepts has further separated feelings from their belonging concepts, and now other parts of the dream are matched with the new layout of dream hiding. This situation is similar to judging in the dream that the important conclusion in action hiding is also in the dream, but it can be replaced by other materials. This transplantation is the opposite before.
This dream example: a bunker was built near the sea, and then the bunker moved to a narrow canal connected with the sea from the shore. I seemed to be a volunteer naval officer in the garrison, and Mr. P was the commander of the bunker. We were together in the reception room of the bunker, where three windows stood in front of a high crib wall. At that time, Mr. P wanted to leave here and instructed me to improvise. His disabled wife was also here, so we had to leave him and breathe heavily. We wanted to turn around and leave me and pull him back to know the necessity. How to contact him when he said a few words and then fell to the ground and died? It must be my problem that made him more nervous, but I was not impressed by his death. I need to consider whether to report his death and transfer his widow. I also want to know whether my position is second to that of him or not. I looked at the passing ships at the window. These are some merchant ships. At this time, my brother is beside me. We watched the canal outside together. We saw a ship and couldn’t help shouting that the enemy warship was coming. Actually, it was a ship. I am familiar with the ship’s return, and soon a small boat came. It was comically cut off from the middle, and there were some cups and boxes on its deck. We all called it a breakfast boat.
A brief introduction to this dream, my travel experience in the Adriatic Sea also implies that my relatives in the United States are worried that the Spanish naval battle broke out in the United States. In this well-structured dream, there are actually two feelings. First, I am indifferent to the commander’s death. Second, I saw the enemy warship. Every dream was full of fear. After analysis, I found that the commander in the dream was not me, body double, but the dead person. I felt painful because I was worried about my family’s future after my long death. This is the dream where I saw the fear of warships linked. But in fact, my warship experience was pleasant. A year ago in Venice, we looked at the Hilovonni River at the window and looked forward to receiving the British ship. Suddenly, my wife shouted that the British warship was coming, and I was very scared in my dream. That is to say, in the process of hiding to revealing, the happiness and anxiety were changed.
In the process of dream formation, there is indeed a phenomenon that feelings, concepts and materials are separated, but this change is not the most important in the process from hiding to revealing. We can find the feelings in the dream when we are hiding, but the hidden feelings are not always in the dream.
I can’t fully elaborate on the emotional repression in the process of dreaming. I want to make some assumptions. I think that emotional release is similar to the process of motor secretion, and the nerve distribution can be said to be a process of pointing to the body. In the sleep state, the motor impulse is blocked when it is directed to the outside world, and it is also more difficult to arouse emotional loss by subconscious thinking. In this case, the emotional impulse is already weak in the dream hiding, and it is just as weak after entering the dream. According to this assumption, emotional repression is not caused by the dream worker, but the sleep state knot. This may be true, but it is not entirely true.
In addition, every complex dream is a compromise caused by the conflict of various spiritual forces. On the one hand, thoughts that constitute desire must compete with each other. On the other hand, every row of thoughts in subconscious mind is accompanied by contradictory emotions. Therefore, we might as well assume that these opposing forces suppress each other. Checking and suppressing these impulsive knots is emotional repression, so the second knot of checking is emotional repression. We have already seen that dream camouflage is its first knot.
Generally speaking, dreams are much poorer in emotion than the spiritual materials that produce them. When hidden is rebuilt, those strong mental impulses hope to be discovered and try to compete with other opposing forces, but the feelings in dreams are lacking in color. There are few strong emotional sentiments in them. It can be said that the feelings are suppressed by the dreamer. It is actually a kind of enthusiasm and excitement to hide, which requires me to arrange my life according to my own choice, but the dream produced by it is dull. I wrote a book on plants before me, and it has colorful illustrations, and each of them has a dried plant label.
The sixth chapter dream machine nine retouching
In this section, I want to introduce the fourth kind of dream machine.
In some dreams, you will feel surprised, distressed or excluded. These critical feelings are actually revealed but part of the dream hidden. In addition, we will find that some materials hidden in dreams are irrelevant.
We often hear such a critical remark in our dreams, which is just a dream. What is the significance of this remark? It is actually a prelude to waking up from a dream. It should be noted that it is often accompanied by some painful feeling in front of it. It is just a dream to judge that we can escape this kind of pain and entangle it. The evaluation of waking state reflects our attitude towards the dream directly. Delacroix once said that this explanation function refers to retouching, not dreaming, and it is the same for the logical coordinator of feeling.
From the perspective of inspection, we can assume that because the inspector has missed a dream, it is impossible to suppress the dream at this time, so the inspection will produce a dream method to calm the pain caused by anxiety. My comforting words can also relieve anxiety
This example says that hiding can’t determine the dream part, so I guess there is also a spiritual function similar to lucid thinking that affects the dream formation process. So is this influence temporary or universal?
I tend to agree with the second statement that the censor is not limited to abridging dreams, and some of them will be added. We can easily find that the report is often hesitant when describing this part, and this part is not vivid enough to connect different links or supplement dreams, saying that they come from different hidden materials, and they are easily forgotten. In fact, I found that these hidden materials are not connected when they are inserted, because they can not rely on physical strength or multiple connections to enter dreams, so I concluded that this phenomenon is very unusual.
I tried to reveal that this kind of machine has a flaw in the dream structure, and it is extremely clumsy to repair it. After repairing it, the absurd and incoherent basis of the dream disappeared.
On the surface, it is logical to dream. Although this kind of dream is endowed with meaning after revision, it is not the true meaning of the dream. After revision, the dream is still flawed, which makes a dream chaotic. If we analyze these materials patiently, we will find that they retain little connection, that is to say, it still leaves us with some meaningless and broken materials.
We are familiar with daydreaming, which is very similar to mental illness research. It is found that these fantasies or daydreams are the precursors or part of hysteria. By comparing with hysteria dreamers, we can find that the fourth kind of dream retouching can shape dreams from the ground, and its products have become part of dreams. Of course, the fate of these products depends on the inspection and condensation.
Next, I will introduce some examples to analyze and polish, which will reduce the trouble. When choosing a dream example, subconscious imagination plays an important role in it, so I will try not to think about it. This dream is composed of two opposing imaginations, but at some nodes, they seem to be combined in the same scene.
A young unmarried man, E, was sitting in a restaurant, and several people rushed to take him away, so he told his deskmate that I would pay the bill later, and the horse would come back. The deskmate laughed at him and said that we were all white, and that’s what everyone said. Another guest shouted and left behind him. He was taken to a small room, and a woman with a child came in with him. The person introduced him as a similar police officer opposite Mr. Miller, leafing through a lot of cards or papers, and said Miller. Then the police officer asked him a question. He replied that I was willing to wait until he turned around to look at the woman
This dream can be divided into two parts. The surface part is an arrested scene hidden behind it, but it is actually a wedding scene. Most of the scenes described in the dream indicate that the wedding scene is the real theme of the dream. This dream actually reflects his anxiety about marriage, which may be lost in the dream. The arrested father-in-law may find it difficult to pay the dowry in this dream. This anxiety leads to the further processing of the dream, and the dream becomes more logical and reasonable through the arrested scene.
Dream retouching is usually carried out on the basis of ready-made materials rather than pieced together separately. For example, someone woke up after being hit by a small wooden board in his sleep. This dream is very long at the end, which seems to be a story of the French Revolution, but the dream is very coherent and completely consistent with the physical stimulation. How can it be a coincidence that he could not have thought that he would be hit?
In this case, it can be said that this dream has actually been kept in our hearts for a long time. A short contact stimulus triggered this dream. After dreaming, I recalled that it was actually the details of the imaginary part. Therefore, it can be said that the dream tool has a special function of accelerating our thinking process.
From this conclusion, we need to seriously consider the dream retouching. In the process of dream formation, the first three machines first combine materials into a temporary dream, and then whether it can meet the requirements of the second power? This is unlikely. I boldly assume that the second power plays the role of four machines in hiding at the earliest stage of dream formation, but the retouching machine plays the least role.
I think this kind of polishing mental function may be the same thing when we are awake. The nature of sober thinking lies in coordinating knowledge materials and organizing them in order to finally form a situation that can make us disintegrate. However, Havelock Ellis can describe this situation in one sentence. We can imagine that our master is conscious in his sleep and the horse is coming in. He is very intelligent and logical. Hurry up and put things in order before he comes in, no matter what order.
There are still some factors to consider in retouching. Hillborough has found that consciously stopping intellectual activities in a doze state helps to think about the image change. At this time, the idea of intellectual existence disappears, and now it is a dream image. However, this kind of dream image is similar to a dream image. It represents fatigue, difficulty and unhappiness. It can also be said that it does not represent the pursuit of the object, but the subjective form is striving for the functional model. Hillborough calls this phenomenon a functional phenomenon.
When I dozed off on the sofa at noon one day, I forced myself to think about a philosophical question. After several attempts, I found that my roots could not recall their views. At this time, a concrete image appeared in my mind as if it were a dream. I was asking a stubborn secret for information, and he would neither ask me nor leave the table. Later, he half straightened up and glared at me angrily.
Functional phenomenon is a state, not an object. These examples prove that the end part of a dream is the intention to wake up or the process of awakening. It shows the scene like a threshold, and it leaves the dream and enters the waking world. This threshold phenomenon can explain the interruption of the fluctuation of the dream sleep level. This also means that some attention remains in the dream during the day, and the inspector tries to supervise and criticize the dream, and then it may interrupt the dream. Hillborough found that in some cases, consciousness still affects the dreamer and may change the dream part.
Finally, I want to make a summary of Zhang. In the process of dream formation, there are two kinds of mental activities with different functions, and it is normal for them to change their direction. It is often made by the spiritual forces of our department. They have not yet become consciousness, but are in the process of change.
Dream is characterized by its transformation from subconscious thought to dream revelation. This process of waking state is very different, and it is rougher, more incongruous and easier to be forgotten than dreaming. It never considers logic, but puts on a layer of camouflage dream in its own way. The ultimate goal is to avoid inspection. It transplants and changes the spiritual value of all materials. It transforms abstract thoughts into visual or auditory memory traces to enhance dream expression. It also concentrates on the fact that thoughts are changed while emotional experience rarely changes.
Chapter VII Dream Cheng Xin Revelation A Dream Forgetting
In the process of dream interpretation, we are often troubled by the problem of forgetting dreams. People will complain that I had a lot of dreams when recalling dreams, but I remember some small fragments that remain in our memories, and the dreams have become fragmented in our memories. Generally speaking, dreams are difficult to be preserved, and the most important parts are always left out in our memories. We are very suspicious that the remaining memories of dreams are probably false. In the process of recalling dreams, we may choose some materials at will to fill the gaps in dreams or add a lot of details to dreams at will, so that we can’t figure out which dreams are coming. Spita warned that all the coherence of dreams may be possible.
Explaining the problem of dream forgetting is the basic work of analyzing dreams. If this problem is not solved properly, it may make our previous work wasted. But how to explain such a big problem? I decided to start with the details of dreams first.
In dream interpretation, I have always insisted that we should also pay attention to those seemingly trivial, critical and uncertain. In my opinion, every simple detail of dreams is behind its special source, otherwise they can’t enter dreams. For example, in Emma’s injection dream, I quickly called Dr. M and thought of a medical accident from this detail. At that time, I immediately called a doctor who was more experienced than me. This same detail implies that Emma was as poor as the poor patient in the medical accident.
Many experiences accumulated by psychoanalysis have also proved that these smallest details are indispensable parts in interpretation. If we neglect to examine them, a dream may not be satisfactorily explained. In this process, I attach great importance to the subtle differences expressed in words. Sometimes there will be some meanings or urgent statements in dreams, but it is difficult to express them properly in words. But I will also note that these materials are always worthless in the eyes of others, and why should I do so?
Different solutions to the phenomenon of dream camouflage are two different ways of thinking. In the process of retelling dreams, the key is indeed disguised, partly because of retouching. In many studies, this camouflage means that the mistakes in speech expression are inadvertently made when recalling, and it is of little help to the understanding of dreams. This understanding is actually wrong. I have said earlier that dream camouflage runs through the process of dreams, and the subconscious mind of mental events is decisive for dreams, so every dream is unintentionally produced, and the materials in it must have undergone some processing, and the waking state will never change the dream retelling at random. Its substitution is likely to be linked with us.
I have done an experiment in this field. The patient’s first report is difficult to understand. I will ask him to repeat it. Usually, the first report is very different. I think my request is equal to waking the patient. I want to analyze the meaning of this dream excavation more deeply. Considering resistance, the patient will choose to hide those sentences that may reveal secrets and some sentences instead. By analyzing these speech changes, I can easily find traces of dream camouflage. This experiment proves that the changes in the retelling really reflect some kind of spiritual power camouflage.
In the process of dream interpretation, we often hear such words, which may not be true. Do we have to spend energy on it? Actually, this skepticism is also a disguised inspection. It is a means of resistance to prevent hiding from entering consciousness and being discovered. This resistance will not stop because the dream has passed the inspection, but will continue to attach to the elements that have been allowed to be carefully protected in the present.
